For starters, Sims with the Shutterbug trait are photography addicts. They love to take photos all the time and connect emotionally with their images. They also want to learn as much about photography as possible.
But that’s not all. Sims with this trait are also more likely to earn money with photography and increase their skill faster. They will also receive buffs when they’re engaged in photography. So, definitely give it a try!

The Beach Lover Trait by KiaraSims4Mods is definitely the simplest trait mod I have on this list. As you can see from the image, Sims with this trait love the beach and the sea and prefer to live in tropical regions.

Kawaiistacie is often referred to as the “Queen of Mods” by the community. And rightfully so because she has created some of the best mods for the game. If nothing else, she is one of our favorite Sims 4 creators for a long time.
But the reason why you should consider purchasing her Sims 4 trait mods bundle is that it is a complete extension. As you can see, there are 40 unique traits, each of which represents a real-life character trait. And judging from her past work, you can only find quality in her content!
How Do You Install Sims 4 Trait Mods?
If you have never tried to play the game with mods, I highly suggest you check our Mods and CC guide. There you will find all kinds of information regarding both, as well as lists of extensions that will improve your gameplay. From realistic mods for your Sim to build-mode tools and camera settings – you will find them all there!
But if this is your first time installing trait mods for Sims 4, here’s what you need to do.
First things first. The trait mod that you wish to have must first be downloaded from the internet. Don’t worry, we will provide direct links to all the trait mods featured in our list. And once you have it on your computer, you can proceed with extracting it.
If you’re using Windows 10, you can simply right-click the downloaded trait mod file and extract it wherever you like. The second step is to copy those extracted files and paste them into your Mods folder inside your Sims 4 game inventory.
The usual destination is Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
And the last thing that you need to take care of is to head into the game and enable Mods and Custom Content. You will wind this option in your game settings. Simply select the feature and you will be able to enjoy your trait mods.

As mentioned above, the Sims 4 trait mods are deeply personal. And although I showcased many quality trait mods in this post, the choice of which one you should download is ultimately yours. Everybody is different and everyone plays the game in a unique way. So, download the trait mods that you want to select for your own Sims!
However, we highly advise you to try as many of the showcased mods as possible. Traits will not change the way you play the game essentially, but they will introduce new perspectives. At the least, they will refreshen your playtime and make you want to play The Sims 4 even more!
And lastly, there are many many more trait mods for The Sims 4 all over the internet. Frankly speaking, new ones get uploaded every day! Here I have only listed our (SnootySims crew) personal favorites and the ones that we have enjoyed the most as veteran simmers.
We have tried every single one of them and have used them once or twice. If we had to choose, we would say that the Awakened Mind and the“Pyromania” are the traits to try out first. But trait mods that deal with autism, depression, and ADHD, are also must-have extensions!
